This was a simple renovation to prepare the unit for sale. As a REALTOR, my clients often ask me to help with the renovations of their homes to get it ready for sale or sometimes to maximize their ROI on a rental. This kitchen was all 80’s cabinets with maple boxes and awful beige fronts. We took the cabinets out and redesigned the kitchen on a strict budget using store bought cabinets but still being thoughtful about the functionality of the small space. The appliances were in fine condition and were able to be reused which saved the client money. Keeping the kitchen bright and open, I went with white quartz counters. The entire home got a fresh coat of bright paint.
In the end, this seller got multiple offers and went for over asking and the buyer got a beautiful kitchen. Win-Win!
